All the time, preparation, and hard work that Pro Class drivers, Trent Hindman, Ricky Agostini and the entire Prestige Performance team has put in to the 2017 Lamborghini North American Super Trofeo series paid off with two overall wins in the Pro driver category. In addition the team took two 2nd places and a 3rd place finish by drivers Cameron Cassels and Sheena Monk respectively.

Race one saw Ricky Agostini start from pole position with a qualifying time of 1:41.476, and consistently laid down lap times that kept Agostini in the lead before handing the reigns over to teammate Trent Hindman. Hindman left the pits and managed the lead the rest of the driving stint. Even after a safety car was deployed and eradicated Hindman’s lead, he was able to quickly gain a 2 second gap within the lap. Agostini and Hindman were formidable “pilotas” bringing home the win, drivers, team and dealership championships. Congrats to the entire Prestige Performance team lead by Wayne Taylor Racing.

On to Race 2, this time it was Hindman’s start with a qualifying time of 1:42.076 which was good for outside row 1. Hindman had a great run chasing Jeroen Mul and approximately 15 minutes in was able to pass for the lead. As the mandatory pit window open Hindman came in, passed the car over to Agostini and the championship pair took the victory in the 2nd and final race in the North American Series championship. When Hindman was asked by sportscar365.com’s Ryan Myrehn, he said “We’ve been preparing for the World Finals all year.”

To sum up the North American finale in Imola the Prestige Performance / Lamborghini Paramus team is extremely proud for the entire team effort capturing for a 2nd year in row the Pro-Drivers Championship, Team Championship and Dealership Championship. Well now on the final two races of the 2017 season the Imola World finals.
