ANDREA AMICI, No. 1 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (PRO):

“In 2015, I raced with WTR and Prestige Performance. We had a really good result at the World Finals that year, so I feel really positive for this year. The team has the skills for us to be in first place at the end of the season. I won both the Europe and Asia Super Trofeo Championships, so my goal is to be the first to win all three continental series of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, winning also in North America. With WTR and Sandy, I think I can have good partners to achieve this target.”

“For me, though I haven’t raced in the United States before, all the tracks are new. We will need to practice to increase our speed over the race weekend. With this crew, I feel confident we can make that happen.”

SANDY MITCHELL, No. 1 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (PRO):

“I have been racing the GT3 in the Blancpain Endurance Series (placed 3rd, Silver Cup). I was looking to do the Super Trofeo series alongside the program I am still doing in Europe. The opportunity came up through the Lamborghini Junior Program to join the No.1 Prestige Performance with Wayne Taylor Racing Super Trofeo.”

“I have wanted to race in America for a really long time and, though I have never raced here before, I really like the tracks and the program this Championship brings. It is very exciting.”

“Though Andrea and I have not raced together, we both have experience in Lamborghinis previously. We would like to win the Championship. You have to take each race as it comes, and it is important to finish each race near the front. That is what we will focus on.”

CAMERON CASSELS, No. 33 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (AM):

“I want to make a strong run for Championship this year and to do that I need to start strong, right out of the box. Part of the challenge last year was adapting from the LMP3 to the Lamborghini EVO – the cars are obviously so vastly this year. Running VIR last year, I ran both cars without a co-driver, so it really forced me to adapt to these cars and their uniqueness. I feel ready now.”

On the 2019 Rolex 24 – Placed 2nd, No. 38 Performance Tech LMP2 entry
“It was a fantastic race. An incredible opportunity. It was very exciting in a number of ways and something I have wanted to do for a very long time and thought I might be a year out from the opportunity. To connect with Performance Tech and have it come together like it did (P2 finish) and to have my wife and daughter there, was extra special. We finished second with a legitimate chance of winning it – if it had only gone green one more time.”

ASHTON HARRISON, No. 43 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Huracán ST (LB CUP)

“Super excited to join Wayne Taylor Racing for the 2019 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series. As a spectator of the series the last couple years, WTR always seem to set the bar. I have known Stephanie for a while now and got to run with her at the 25 Hours of Thunder Hill. We reconnected there and both had similar ambitions to run the Trofeo series. We are pumped to get started.”

“Stephanie and I are going to go out and do our absolute best in LB Cup. We want to be the fastest. Our mentality is to work the absolute hardest and setting that bar will be good for us. As long as we can work on us, the car will do what we need it to do.”

“For 2018, I ran my final season of the Global MX-5 Cup. It was super stiff competition in a spec series, so it kind of made sense to move into Super Trofeo where all the cars, within reason, are close to what I am used to as well as having tough competition. I had an opportunity to run with Flying Lizard at the 25 Hours of Thunder Hill in 2018 and that turned out to be a wake-up call for me as I have always wanted to move out of the MX-5 cup into something different. It pushed me into this direction and I am stoked to be with WTR and to be able to join such a prestigious team.”

STEPHANIE CEMO, No. 43 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (LB CUP):

“My expectations for the season are to (1) to learn the team and how everyone works, (2) become a faster driver and (3) – which should be number 1 – is to have a blast!”

“I chose Wayne Taylor Racing because it is a highly successful and established team. I have been a fan for a number of years and I am stoked to get this opportunity to drive under WTR. I have been raised doing lots of Time Attack and Corvette Challenge, running in SCCA, GT2 Class and Trans AM TA3. I felt that the Lamborghini Super Trofeo was a good next step into an IMSA sanctioned series. “

“2019 is going to be a big year for women in motorsports. I am super, super excited to be running with Ashton and representing that female initiative of getting more women out there and behind the wheel.”

WILLIAM HUBBELL, No. 69 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (AM):

“Last year, we took third in the AM Super Trofeo Championship and this year, we are back for first place. Eric Curran will be driving with me this year for most of the races. Excellent guy. We won five Championships in FARA, it is a regional club in Florida. We also took second place in the HSR Daytona Prototype class.

“The car is very different from the DP, The DP is very stable and the Lamborghini is more skittish. I just need more seat time, so I am going to do what ever I can to get more seat time. I am also going to the simulator weekly (GPX Simulator in Miami) and pan to test the Huracan Super Trofeo at a track near my house. I’m just going to work harder and try to take number 1.”

ERIC CURRAN, No. 69 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (PRO):

“Going into 2019, it is pretty exciting. I have worked with William Hubbell for a number of years coaching him in a number of different series. To come in this year and to run with Wayne Taylor Racing and the Super Trofeo Series is an exciting thing. I have watched the series for a number of years, love Lamborghini, love the Huracan. It is a really fun series and it is great to be a part of it.”

“It is interesting, as a long-time competitor of WTR, and friends with the group here, to now be working hand in hand with them is a very cool thing. William Hubbell is a long-time friend. He is excited. He is learning a lot. I’ve been coaching him for years and he keeps getting better and better. We are looking for 2019 to be a really great season for him. I can’t do all the races with him (due to IMSA WeatherTech DPi race conflicts) but I will so as many as I can. The Hubbell Racing Lamborghini has been strong the past couple of years, running just individual events, but in 2019 we will be running the whole season. Fun to be here, change of pace for me, happy to be here.”
